About
Corban is a first-year PhD student at UC Berkeley, working with Professor Raluca Ada Popa on Security for AI Systems, and co-organizes the UC Berkeley Security Seminar. Corban recently completed his undergraduate at New York University studying computer science and working with Professor Christina Pöpper and Professor Michail Maniatakos.
Recently
- August 27th, 2025: I am excited to begin my PhD at UC Berkeley this Fall as a Chancellor's Fellowship recipient!
- August 13th, 2025: I am presenting my first USENIX Security Paper.
- May 22nd, 2025: I completed my undergradate at NYU, and was honored to receive the annual Piano Prize.
- February 24th, 2025: I presented my first first-author research paper at NDSS 2025.
- September 9th, 2024: Officially disclosed my first vulnerability. 🥳
- July 15th, 2024: Attended PETS 2024 with Shujaat Mirza to introduce our new privacy paper. We were honored to be named a runner-up for the Andreas Pfitzmann Best Student Paper Award!
- August 14th, 2023: Loving the talks this year at the DEFCON AI Village.
- August 9th, 2023: A paper on GitHub Copilot Leaks was presented at USENIX Security '23. I had the opportunity to contribute by running the StarCoder experiments!
